The company sells to athletes directly and as an original equipment partner of major brands in the active Outdoor Recreation industry that incorporate our hands-free hydration reservoirs and soft flasks into hydration backpacks and running vests.  We work with over 70 leading brands in this capacity including Osprey Backpacks, Salomon, Patagonia and The North Face.  HydraPak also operates as Bottle Bright®, the natural and effective cleaning tablet. Our branded hydration products are available at specialty sport stores worldwide.

Systems Specialist Mission:

The System Specialist’s mission is to architect the intelligence and connectivity of HydraPak’s global technology environment, ensuring accurate and timely information for company decision-making. This critical role will build the automated future of the business by focusing on innovation, integration, scalability, and security.

Duties and Responsibilities

AI & Workflow Automation

  • Workflow Development: Partner with departments to identify manual inefficiencies and build custom AI-assisted workflows or agents to increase operational effectiveness.
  • AI Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the lead for Large Language Model usage, providing the training to help staff leverage AI for strategic thinking and improved efficiency.
  • AI Administration: Support the IT & Systems Manager in the governance and secure rollout of AI tools across the organization.

Enterprise Applications & System Integrations

  • System Integration: Build and maintain technical integrations between Acumatica, Domo, Shopify Plus, Paya, ShipHawk, and SPS Commerce to ensure real-time data accuracy.
  • Core Application Administration: Assist in the configuration and maintenance of the ERP (Acumatica) and productivity platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, RingCentral, Zendesk).
  • Data Integrity: Proactively audit data synchronization between systems to ensure the ERP remains the system of record, working cross-functionally with data entry and reporting teams.

IT Infrastructure Support

  • Assist the IT & Systems Manager in the following areas as needed:
  • IT Helpdesk support, including software, hardware & network configuration & troubleshooting.
  • User account administration across multiple platforms.
  • Onboarding of new users and secure removal of IT access and equipment for departing users.
  • Maintenance of support documentation.
  • Asset management of IT devices.
  • Management of domain registrations and renewals.
  • System implementation and upgrade projects.
  • Application of IT security policies including password management and endpoint protection.

Growth Path

  • This role is designed for progressive growth, moving from stability and support to strategic project ownership.
  • 0-12 months: Stabilizing the environment, focusing on learning and supporting HydraPak systems to make immediate contributions.
  • 6-24 months: Process Optimization, moving from fixing issues to actively improving business processes and workflows.
  • 18 months onward: Broader, strategic project ownership and translation of business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Experience and Qualifications

Education & Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience

  • 3+ years in IT or Systems Management in a global, fast-paced, distributed environment.
  • Experience administering and supporting core business systems (e.g., ERP,  E-commerce, BI, CRM), prioritizing an integration mindset over a specific ERP platform.
  • Systems fluency across multiple SaaS categories and practical experience using middleware tools for system integration.
  • Data literacy: Understanding of relational databases and basic SQL proficiency.
  • AI literacy: Practical experience implementing AI tools like Gemini to automate repetitive administrative or data-entry tasks.
  • Logical mapping experience, creating detailed data-flow diagrams and technical documentation for complex system integrations.
  • Experience working with 3rd party SaaS vendors.

Salary & Benefits:

This is a full-time position based in our Longmont, CO office Monday-Thursday with Fridays remote eligible. The typical work hours for this job are between 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Pay range for this position is $80,000-$100,000 annually with up to 10% bonus potential. HydraPak offers up to 120 hours of Paid Time Off in the first year of service, 11 paid holidays, a range of insurance benefits starting the first of the month following a 30-day waiting period, and a 401(k) plan with company match after 90 days.
